Mount Meru

Located inside Arusha National Park, Mount Meru is a spectacular active stratovolcano rising to 4,562 meters. Often used as a perfect warm-up trek for Kilimanjaro, Meru is an incredible standalone adventure. The trek takes you through lush montane forests where you will walk past leopards, giraffes, and colobus monkeys, before climbing up a dramatic, knife-edge volcanic crater rim.
